Essential Wall Measurement Tips for Murals Wallpaper
Measure Wall Height
- Use a tape measure to check the height from the floor (excluding skirting) to the ceiling (excluding moulding).
- Measure both the left and right corners of the wall.
- Record the tallest height.
Measure Wall Width
- Measure from one side of the wall to the other at the midpoint.
- Take note of the exact width.
TIPS AND TRICKS
- Verify all measurements multiple times.
- Always use the largest dimensions if walls are uneven.
- Ignore doors and windows when measuring; measure the wall as if it’s one flat surface.
- Clearly label dimensions as Width (W) and Height (H).
- Write measurements in inches or centimeters without rounding.
KNOWING YOUR WALLMURAL
We add 2″ or 5cm excess to both width and height to the measurements provided by you. This excess is required for allowance during installation.
Your Wall Mural will come in panels with an overlap of 1/2″ or 1.25cm. This overlap is for perfect matching during installation.
